Does this fit the newer lenses that take 58 (55?) filters? Not home right know to look up info but definitely want it if it’s the right hood.

Newer Summicron R 2/50 with 55mm filter should have built in hood, unfortunately, not very deep.

As gorbas said this hood does not fit Leica R 50mm F2 summicron with build-in lens hood, E55 and ROM.
