Two minty Leica IXMOO cassettes with cases and original boxes. These will work with most M and Barnack Leicas. $75 including shipping in the U.S. Sorry, no international shipping.

Shame you don’t ship across the pond. If you happen to have an M3 these are great.

I do have an M3 and more cassettes. I cannot now remember why I did not want to ship overseas. Perhaps high cost of shipping. I think I will put up some more cassettes and remove the shipping restrictions. Do you need some?
Thanks

It's nice you have the boxes to go with these.

I used mine quite often and held on to them when I let my IIIc go; they are nicer to work with than thin sheet metal or plastic cartridges, if you really enjoy the Leica "experience".

Any difference between these ones and the one from Zeiss? Besides the name…

Yes Alex, I do believe they are quite different. And also, I think the cassettes differ from the M cameras to the barnacks, not quite the same so they can't be used interchangeably. If I'm wrong, I hope someone can comment to clarify. Bob. P.S. I have some of the Zeiss cassettes, if you are looking for those.

You can use an IXMOO in either an M or a Barnack; but the shorter IXMOO can allow the Barnack film to be not central to the frame (the image can contain sprocket holes). The longer FILCA doesn't have that problem; but it jams an M camera.

I was able to solve the problem by using an O-ring (from a garden hose manufacturer) to hold the cassette up into the camera. But it wasn't a great situation and I now use the different cassettes in the cameras they were designed for.

I've mentioned this issue in the past, with normal film cartridges and, my solution with a IIIC was a conical 1/2" or 12mm spring in the bottom of the cassette compartment to lift the roll up.

I never noticed it with Leica cassettes, which I do no sort.
