Leica IIIg accessories on a Leotax?

Does anyone know if IIIg accessories can be used on a Leotax FV? I'd like to order a half case for my newly acquired FV but am unsure if it will fit. They only catch I can see by looking at photos is that the strap lugs are a bit farther forward on the body than the IIIg.


I'm also looking for a mini soft release but the only references I can find to using one on a Barnack style camera are the Nikon AR-1 which I have and doesn't fit. The barrel is too wide with the collar on and too short to reach the threads with the collar off.

If you have a IIIf or g(assuming they are the same dimensions), I can measure the body on my Leotax to compare. I would also need to know if the threaded socket is located the same.

Doesn't look like cases meant for a IIIf would be compatible.
