For Sale Leica IIIf screw mount body and leather case

I have for sale a nice looking Leica IIIf screw mount camera. I think it is 1955. The leather was all cracked, so I took it off. I have a replacement covering on the way. I have decided to keep the lens and sell the camera. It needs a CLA. I got the shutter to cock and fire, but something needs adjusting in there. The curtains look ok. Please email with questions.
I want to find a nice Leica M2, 3 or 4.....maybe a trade of some kind?

This appears to be a Leica IIIf RDST. (Red Dial Self Timer) a very desirable camera once recovered and CLAed. Your date estimate is close.
My father had the exact same camera and I had it CLAed last year. A great camera. Depending on the internal surprises that will shape the repair costs The buyer will really enjoy this camera even without the original skin on the body.

This is how the Leica looked when I got it. The lens is a Summarit 50mm f1.5 with Leica UV filter and Leica cap. Anybody want to buy/trade for the whole thing?
