I might guess this would work with even the digital M cameras?
My only concern would be body size NOT focal plane issues as an M is an M.
Anyway... it is nice and buttery smooth slide and helicoid.

Leitz/Leica Focoslide M with buttery smooth action.
ALSO
LVFOO 5x viewer
and ZQGOO helicoid focuser
and Illuminator! (I can not find one elsewhere on the web)

Also included are an assortment of LTM extension tubes.

To use the illuminator rather than direct view on ground glass at film plane with LVFOO swap it out turn illuminator on, slide to projection side and frame and focus, then slide unit with M camera attached to make perfect copy/macro image of very small sizes with kit shown.

****Shown mounted on Valoy Post and board which are NOT included!!********
****Projected image made with Focotar 40 mounted in unit*******
*********Focotar 40mm NOT INCLUDED*******

Asking $265 shipped in the cont 48 USA. Will ship elsewhere for additional fee.

What exactly is the purpose of this? Macro? Enlarger? I can't tell.

so, its BOTH an enlarger and macro copy stand!

This is not an enlarger. It is part of a Leica Reprovit, which is used with an M body and a Focotar lens. The Illuminator projects an image through the Focoslide onto the baseboard. The Illuminator is only used for focusing and composition.
When the Focoslide is moved into position with the body over the lens, only then is the exposure is made.
Basically, it was Leitz's elegant copying device. What you would need to complete this outfit is a Focotar lens, a copy stand with a vertical post and copy board, some lighting setup, and an M body.
I used the complete Leitz Reprovit IIa for many years when I made slides and copy negatives for clients.

Thanks Karl K... and with the assortment of tubes and careful exposure calculations you can photograph very very tiny things postages stamps, or moss spores. If I were going the Digital M route I am pretty sure I would regret selling this.

It came with the Valoy enlarger head that I AM planning to use.

If you had a digital M9 you could "copy" your leica m negatives with this and have a completely leica workflow!

It's really suited for reflective art... not slides... You would need an opal glass, backlight, etc.

Bump... taking a reasonable offer.

$100 somebody needs this/ or needs it for the collections??
Again the is a rarer "m" mount focoslide!! and Illuminator.

See first post... it's collecting dust in my basement. If you have the enlarger, get this to complete your system collection.
