Now with a like-new CV Nokton 40mm f1.4, which arrived today. Can’t wait to try it out.
You can really see the patina from this angle. The serial number indicates it was made in 1971. Still working on the first roll of film. Until it’s developed I won’t know how accurate the focus is with either lens. The Elmar cleaned up well. What I thought were scratches turned out to be some fungus, which I’ll treat soon. I’m thinking it will be good for portraits, provided the focus is accurate.
And yes, that’s the infamous non-focusing Bronica 50mm lens in the background.
