I didn't take any photos during the process, but the plug is literally just a little plastic piece. Be careful when you remove it because if it goes flying, it might be hard to find. As for the adjustment screw, a very small adjustment goes a long way so be prepared for a lot of trial and error. Is your vertical or horizontal out of alignment? My vertical alignment was off, but adjusting the vertical put the horizontal out of whack, so getting the two to coincide was tricky. For the horizontal adjustment, I used the moon as a target for infinity focus.
