Excellent condition operationally and cosmetically. (This is EX at like KEH, not ebay.) Super clean and unused looking glass and barrell.
Glass, front and rear, is pristine no scratches, no rub marks, no haze. No separation, no fungus. Clear, sharp Leica glass.
Aperture ring clicks sure and solid.
Focus is smooth and solid feeling.
Barrel also in excellent,no scratches, only faint signs of wear.
1/2 STOPS up to f/16.
Aperture blades show faint wear.
Serial #2727XXX.
Nice shooting lens.
Comes with Leica FRONT CAP and no rear.
I believe this version was made from 1974-1989 and weighs 220 grams. The lens is of telephoto construction and was designed as a very compact lens that would fit in the ever-ready case when mounted on the camera. It had 5 elements, non cemented, in a short, non-rotating mount.
