REALLY on the fence about this one. Just got this beauty back from a CLA by Youxin Ye last month (August 2024). Glass looks great, focus is super smooth, and it's just...well, gorgeous.

However, I'm still finding myself reaching for my digital gear. I think the older I get...plus doing film shooting for 30 years now...I'm just starting to lose the love for the process. SAD!

Having said that...IF you happen to have a Hasselblad 903SWC...and are interested in a possible swap...let me know. That's the one camera I miss the most. Not to mention, wearing glasses now doesn't really get in the way of shooting the SWC.

Anyway, here's Youxin's notes:
"Summicron 35/2.0 lens - CLA'd, Lubricated focus ring. Cleaned aperture blades and removed oil on blades. Cleaned each element in the lens and removed haze inside. The lens is clean and clear now."

Comes with front and rear caps. I also have the IROOA lens hood. The hood has some marks and wear, but works fine. I'll include it also.

This is the often more sought-after German version.

$3250 net to me plus shipping.

*Note: I do have the Avenon 35mm shoe mount viewfinder if you are interested. However, these things aren't cheap it appears. I'd do $225 on it. Comes with the original box and even has front and rear caps for the finder itself.

This is an incredible lens. Kodachromes were gorgeous. I used the goggle eye version for the M3 camera for two decades. Yup, I know, I stupidly sold it in the 2010 period. ☹️

This shutter adapter is interesting. What's the item number/name? I know a similar thing, AR-1 by Nikon.

Yep, does the same as the AR-1 for Nikon, at a far greater expense because it has Leica on it...lol. OZTNO is what you'll want to search for. If you find one for $150 consider it a good deal. Sometimes you can snag one for less. Often, they are priced way higher. Crazy.
