Anyone know if the SOOTF adapter would cause the 35mm Summaron lens to vignette? Add the Summitar to E39 adapter? And a E39 filter? Id' like to use an orange E39 filter on the Summaron but the best I can do now is the SOOTF and the Summitar/E39 adapter combo with a E39 orange filter. I could source an orange Summitar filter or a E36 orange filter.

The lens and adapters:

I owned a similar lens for a few years but always used it wit A36 push on filters. With the push on filters there was never a problem, even when using a FOOKH hood. My desktop computer is stashed away at the moment so I can’t post any images. That looks like a good combination. You may notice some darkening at the edges but photography is about experimentation.

Interesting. The a36 filter would push the FOOKH away from the lens so I'm thinking my combo might work too. The SOOTF has a slightly slimmer profile and flairs out a little compared to the FOOKH. Thanks for that info.
