This 1956 Leica 1F Red Dial camera body is in excellent condition functionally and cosmetically. It is very clean with only a few very light marks on the bottom plate. In general, it looks almost new. And it has had a recent CLA just a few months ago and works perfectly. Very smooth operation. Of course the take-up spool is included.
I primarily used this body with the Super Angulon 21mm lens (also to be sold). Any such wide angle lens is a great combo with the non-RF bodies since you can simply use scale focusing and a RF is completely unnecessary. Alternatively, you could use it (as it was designed for, with the two accessory shoes) along with separate RF and VF units.
This is also a great body for use with Visoflex rigs since no rangefinder is necessary!
The last picture shows this camera body with the 21mm lens and VF mentioned above. Of course these are not included with the 1F but I will be posting an advert for that lens/VF/hood.
