It is in extremely good condition. I hope the new owner actually makes photos with it - I'm sure that's possible without risking its perceived value.

If it were me, I'd send it to Youxin for a CLA

it is a pity none of the stories say who it was given/sold to originally, or where it has been all this time.

There is no way to explain the mind of a collector, except that some have a great deal of money and some don’t. On the other hand, collectors preserve artifacts of the past.

When you spend millions of Euros on a camera, you don't send it to Youxin Ye for a CLA. You fly him to your house to do the CLA

Then you shoot a roll of Kodachrome and buy a lab to develop it.
