Money is tight and there are lots of hobbies to spend Money.

Fotoimpex wanted 60 dollars to send to apx100 to Istanbul and maco direct is requesting minimum 40 Euro spending. Are these folks serious to conduct a business or impressed by holga ?

I am looking for any european online apx 100 seller , will charge me less than 7 Euro for shipping charges.

1000 kilograms 1 m3 Cargo comes from shangai to İstanbul for 15 dollars within container.

I can buy 4 rolex copies from china for 7 euros , shipping charge included with 7 day shipment with registered post.

I will live in China at the future.

Just received an order from Fotoimpex. They charged me 10€ shipping. The shipping document showed hom much they paid to DHL: 23€. If I were to send you films totalling 1/2 kg weight, that would cost 18.81€.

try to search on ebay, contact seller with question - is it possible to send via normal post, and you pay actual cost of shipping. Recently I sold broken Rollei 35 - and guy from Hong Kong asked me to send it as cheap as possible - on his own risk. Shipping was 5,5 euros, arrived ok in a week or so.

You cannot compare surface mail to air mail. There is no way anyone is going to charge you 7 Euros to ship a kilo between Europe and Asia Minor.

The problem you run into is customs. You usually have to pay a hefty sum for your stuff to sail through customs without any hiccups. You also have to consider tracking and reliability. Sometimes there are cheaper options through a government post office but companies have been burned enough times they just use a more expensive courier.

Trust me I feel you pain. I purchased a Zonemaster II just after the prices started shooting up everywhere. I bundled in some photopaper with my order just to help justify they ridiculous shipping charges. Honestly though if you are evading the VAT taxes you can't also demand 7 Euro shipping. I would like to know who has the best shipping and I think this is an excellent thread but 7 Euros is unrealistic in my experience. I live in the US.

For me even with the $40 shipping Fotoimpex quoted me it is still cheaper to order from them than source certain films and developers locally. Anyway all this really makes me wonder how people can say analog is cheaper than digital. Some analog is but certainly not all of it.

Not as good as APX - but maybe to consider Polypan? For ~30-35 euros you get 90 meters of film. With careful semi-stand developing in Rodinal 1+100 for one hour at 20C you can get decent results, and it is cheap. This is by far cheapest option you can get.

Try the restaurants before you say that. I've had some of the worst meals of my life in China (contrasting with some very, very good ones in Istanbul).

As others have said, you can't really compare bulk shipping costs to individual packages; sending 1000 kg does not cost 1000 times more than sending 1 kg.

Do you know anyone who travels regularly to the EU, who could perhaps act as a courier? When I was travelling a lot, we used to do this sort of thing for one another---the guy in Sweden can get something more cheaply in the US, so he orders it to my address and I bring it to the next meeting. Failing that, you may just need to make one big order rather than many little ones, and accept the pain of shipping charges just once. It's the price you pay for the Sultanahmet skyline!

Nathan, I want to keep my business simple , I want to buy two APX for 5 euros and want to pay a reasonable price for shipment. Is it wanting too much ? This is new porn Show to buy something for 5 dollars and pay 60 dollars for shipment.

I bought Elvin Jones drumsticks for 8 dollars and they charged 60 dollars to my card. I called them but they shipped them at 3AM Ohio time.
They paid another 90 dollars to send back the sticks and 8 dollars costed them 150. I enjoyed too much

Darko , I cant pay 40 for film wharever size. And I want to buy from a shop not a person. I only used ebay one time to buy indian bass sitar, surbahar strings. They come for 10 dollars from Pradesh including shipment .

I sent a film to Oxford with registered , barcoded , airmail , online follow from Istanbul cost me 3 dollars. Same to US also a little bit more.

By the way , there is no custom cost for under 100 dollars value.

And I've read enough of these photo mail order site websites that I know they have had problems with certain postal carriers and now often use special couriers that deliver packages and get recipients to sign for them so they are not stuck sending packages twice.

You might be able to get that kind of deal in Istanbul but I assure you you won't be able to get that kind of price for reliable tracked air mail from the US to Istanbul.

Seriously though if you find a place selling all that wonderful European film for 7 euros shipping let us know. I want in on that deal. It costs $3 minimum just to send a letter from the US to Turkey.

I don't own a film retailer. I pay the fees just like everyone else. Just because I don't enjoy reality doesn't mean I can simply deny its existence.

A 3 oz document would cost you $3.00 to send from the US to Istanbul. YDead Link Removed. I am not aware of anyone cheaper. I know sometimes things like airplane tickets are cheaper to buy from certain countries so even if you are flying on the same plane people can pay two different prices simply because of their geographic locations. Maybe the same is true for postal services. Your problem is you need someone outside of Turkey to send you something. Unfortunately they can't get the same deals residents of Turkey get.

Like I said though I would love to get film for 7 euros shipping. Even if we don't hit that 7 Euro target I hope someone can post some alternatives to the $40 I was quoted.

A solution may be to buy from a seller offering free UK shipping and then get it sent on. This seller for example is reputable. I cannot promise shipping under €7, but that camera I posted to you didn't cost very much, although I was a bit lighter than 10 rolls.

Thank you very much for your kind help offer. Every month I am spending to my hobbies more and more. So no Money to spend on others. I have no ability to buy 10 rolls of film and I have no subject also. I am living in an apartment which been put in a small forest and I am spending time in home and around 300 meters. No nude women to photograph , no mountain nor rocks , no people for Street photography etc.
I am seeing others pictures and than want for myself also.
If I find something useful , I will try to request your help.

Apparently there is profitable business in making precise electronic scales, packing them, filling out customs forms, bringing them to Europe and sending them all the way to my home, altogether for 7 Euros. It may be hard to comprehend for many here but these 40 Euros minimum order is more than a week's salary in many parts of this world.

As far as Umut's immediate issue is concerned, I have no immediate answer for him. Ideally he teams together with a few other film users from Istanbul or Turkey and places a bulk order, or he finds someone to bring that film with him to Turkey and mail it from there.

There are film delers in Thiland and Hong Kong, who take advantage of the relative low postage costs there to ship stuff cheeply. These folks do most ofthe business on ebay with names like "Film Carnival" did not see any APX in their listings lately.

that camera I posted to you didn't cost very much, although I was a bit lighter than 10 rolls.

I posted a camera body to Istanbul a few years ago and it was just under five euros so it shouldn't cost much to end film.

I can confirm about the "Film Carnival" store on the big auction site. The actual name of the seller is "films-festival" and I have ordered Fuji color films several times. I made the orders just below the customs limit and the final price was very reasonable.

P.S. I have also used the way already suggested by other people. Via the local forums we group and place one order to maco and then divide the shipping price.
