LAVEC anyone?

I recently found a LAVEC LT-002 from 1984 at a thrift shop. It was still wrapped up in the original box. I paid $5, bought some film and have been snapping away. Does anyone know about LAVEC? I've never heard the name, and was curious about the camera.

It was manufactured by Lavec Industrial corp. in Taipei, Taiwan.
No dates or any further info.
