Quite an interesting episode, which I’d think would interest at least some of you guys here.

And nice to hear Photo Engineers name mentioned with such reverence.

Nick Brandret talks, among other things, about his experiments and experience in wet plate coating and the history of the process.

Oh my, I did not know I got a mention. I know that Nick did the interview and I have it bookmarked but have not listened to it yet.

Thanks for the heads up. I do work with Nick and Mark a lot.

I know and it is stated in the link, but more likely that audio magazine refers to the public magazine.

The link actually indicates that the name was used in the 1990s for the internal magazine - my experience is that, at least for the Canadian Kodak subsidiary, it has a much longer history than that.
I can say that seeing the name on the screen here brings back memories.

Now that I'm at it, Bob Shanebrook was on Studio C-41 on the third of March. I personally find the interviewers meandering, longwinded and fumbling questions and followups irritating, but Mr. Shanebrook took it in stride and said some very interesting stuff.
