Hi,

I have a Sinar F2, does anyone know of a camera that has more front and rear shift? I've decided to photograph doors and many of them are reflective.

Thank you.

You can use front and back swings to achieve shift. Your will most likely run out of lens coverage if you carry it too far.

My bad. I misinterpreted your question.

Sinar F1/F2 has 87mm front and 92mm rear total shift.
Arca Swiss has 100mm shift total front and back
Linhof Kardan series has 140mm total front and back

Total meaning that half of the shift would be to the left and half to the right equaling the total.

This was in B&H's old catalog

Are you using the front and rear shift at the same time -- in opposite directions? That about 3-4" total -- quite a bit. Can the lens IC you are using handle that?

More details would help.

Another option might be to turn the camera sideways -- if the camera offers greater rise/fall, as many do.

The Sinar F2 probably has far more cumulative shift than most lens image circles can themselves handle.
