I know this lens isn't made anymore, but does anyone know the characteristic designation of the latest version of the 75mm for Mamiya RZ67? I'm seeking out this focal length and want to find the best possible. I'm not interested in lens shift and would rather have the extra speed and smaller size. I just don't know how to search, as I'm not familiar with Mamiya's letter designations for various versions/generations of their lenses.
It was the 75/3.5 I think there was only one version, it is fairly rare. Given the rarity I would go for the 65 M-L/A, it is at least as good, way more common and thus cheaper.
I already have the 65 L/A with the floating element. It's a little too wide for my environmental portraiture, and my 90mm is a bit too "normal" so wanted to look into the 75mm. Can anyone confirm that there was only one version. I thought I once saw that there were two versions somewhere...
The 75mm Sekor K/L would work. It was the last generation of lenses made for the RB67, so it's mechanical but has brilliant glass. It works great with the RZ67--I have the 90mm Sekor K/L and love it. It's a bit heavier than RZ lenses, but worth it given the lower cost. KEH has one right now--https://www.keh.com/235370/mamiya-75mm-f-3-5-kl-l-lens-for-mamiya-rb67-77 . Also has 77mm threads so filters are a bit cheaper.
