or the last several years cell phones have ruled the roost when it comes to end of the year pictures among our 6th-8th graders, Not this year! Instax is the king this year and "film is so cool." Kids a re funny

I have an Instax and Polaroid camera and bought a few boxes of film for them. I really haven't enjoyed using them outside of one particular niche. They are a whole lot of fun at parties and get-togethers! People just love having their pictures taken with friends at memorable events, and love being able to take the photos home with them! It's a great way to turn an introvert like me into the life of the party without having to say a whole lot. Don't get me wrong, I love people. I just hate the boring conversations they have. Instant cameras are like small talk repellant!

My Jr. high niece just told me this yesterday. 'Everybody has Polaroids![instax] and they keep breaking them and buying more!'

The kids call them Polaroids.
