Hi again,

I'll be in Las Vegas in early May and, as a lucky European :D, am thinking about shopping there.

Obviously I'll be looking for film and -may be- used equipement.

Is Casey's store a good place, would you have better recommendations ?

Casey's is where I usually go for supplies in Vegas. My parents live there, so I visit at least once a year.

Thanks David.

Do they have a used equipment department ?
Do you know if they stock sheet film ?

They do stock sheet film, and they have some used equipment. I don't recall the prices being fantastic, but any prices might be fantastic in the US if you happen to be earning in Euros at the moment. If you want to be sure they have a film that you want, it would be a good idea to contact them in advance. When I last checked, they had a few films in 4x5", but I don't know that they stock larger sizes.

Hi David,

yes, I'm earning in Euros, and US prices look much more attractive at the current rate.

Casey's is my favorite LV camera store, largely because of their excellent camera repair guy Jeff.

Sahara Camera also has used equipment

There's also B & C Camera, but they always seem to be out of whatever it is I need.

Just be aware that all three are closed on Sundays!

Thanks,

I'll definitely try to have a look at these shops. My Yashica is at the repair shop, so I might need a "new-used" MF TLR ;-)
