Hello All

I am announcing the Grand Opening of the new Stephen Bulger Gallery in Toronto Sat September 9th , This is his new space and it is huge and really quite a spectacular venue.

The first opening show is by Larry Towell , Canadian based Magnum photographer, this show is a story about the renovations of the historic Union Station here in Toronto.

I am pleased to be a co printer, I did the Black and White Silver Prints. We made five - six foot fibre base prints from Xpan negatives and three smaller 20 x24 prints.
I expect this opening to be packed as this new gallery is a realization of many years hard work by Stephen and his fantastic crew. If you are in the GTA next weekend this would be a great show to see and be part of.

I will be there for a short time, I am the little guy with the Canada Hoodie.

Thank you for the heads up I will try to make it. I saw your prints you made for the Vivian Maier exhibit at the S.B. gallery last year, awesome work.

thank you. These prints for Larry are quite big... print sniffers not welcome at nose level.. I have a large paddle to hit them in the head.

A very good turnout and what a huuuuge space compared to the Queen St. gallery ! Also not used to seeing colour work from Towell, esp side by side with his Xpan work (which as Bob said are fairly large). Michael Snow attended as did Geoffrey James and probably others I may not have recognized.

This space is going to look awesome during Contact.

I was there around 4:30 had to go to a second opening in the evening so we went for noodle soup in between.. there was a good crowd there late as well... The space is quite modular with those huge movable panels, the next show Rita Leistner which I am printing right now is much different , all colour and really big prints on diabond.. the space will be configured quite differently for her show , exciting times for Stephens new space.

I agree you will be quite surprised, her work with tree planters has a Dutch Impressionists (not my words) feel to them and I think the community will take notice when they see these images.
