In my opinion the XTL, the dimensions are not made up by plastic parts, and we are not talking about different equipment to attach to the camera to give it more powerful looks. Just a plain "I-don't-need-batteries-to-function" classic camera from the "golden age".

Considering 35mm SLR s are considered miniature cameras I'm amazed at the size of many of the modern ones, some medium format cameras are smaller.

It's not an SLR, but the Zeiss Ikon Contaflex TLR probably is the largest and possibly the heaviest 35mm camera, especially when attached to either the 13.5cm or 8.5cm Sonnar.

Still looking in my old camera manuals, I notice that the Mamiya MSX 500 or MSX 1000 are even bigger than their ancestor XTL:
The width is 151,5 mm (+2mm, XTL) and thickness 55mm (+1mm). That would make the MSX the new king, but there might still be other big ones out there?
