The Midwest Large Format Asylum (MWLFA) will hold its November outing on the 15th & 16th. We will meet at the Red Wheel Resturant in Monticello, IL at 6:30 am for an early morning shoot, and will meet back at 8:00 for breakfast.
We have then made arrangements to shoot at the historical Railway Museum in Monticello. They have many old and refurbished RR cars. They are also rebuilding an old steam engine in their shop.
The afternoon may be spent in Allerton Park.
Sunday we plan on shooting in Rantoul, Illinois at the old abandened Air Force base. There are many old structures there in addition to the aircraft museum which has many vintage airplanes.

Also, I want to remind everybody that that our portfolio review will be held at Starved Rock State Park in Illinois on January 10th, 2009. Last year we viewed 17 portfolios all shot with large format cameras.
