It's been almost a year since the dinner in Mississauga and it's time to plan another get-together. This is what I'm thinking and I'm basing it around the spring run off.
A Waterfall Gathering on Saturday April 5th.
If we meet at my studio in north Burlington during the morning, groups can car pool to a variety of local waterfalls.... many which only run for a few weeks in the spring. After photographing at a variety of falls for the day we head back to the studio in the evening for a couple cold ones and pizza/wings/whatever. People can show their current work, meet others with similar interests and have a few laughs. This would keep the costs down since we would only have to pay for a bit of car-pool gas and some take-out food. It also gets everyone out and shooting early in spring. Those that can't shoot that day can still meet for the social evening.
It would be very helpful if you let me know ahead of time if you're interested. I would think the cost of food would be around $15 - $20 each.
