I have developed a Palm software, called Dead Link Removed, that I am using in the field to adjust the exposure for the bellows draw, filter factor and reciprocity failure.

Please note that this mostly (exclusively?) relevant to large format photographers. Cameras with through-the-lens metering do this job for you.

The central idea is that the light meter info is converted using the given film's EI, and the shot's chosen aperture. As I am using several filters, each film-filter pair is factored in as well. Next, the bellows draw for the shot is entered in the calculation. Finally, if the shutter speed exceeds one second, reciprocity correction is applied.

The exposure data can be stored in the Memo pad to be printed later.

I have developed this software mainly to fit my needs, but I am happy to share it with the LF community as a donationware. Please Dead Link Removed.

I hope the moderators will be OK with this announcement.

That looks to be a very well designed programme. Nothing more, nothing less, than what is required.

I myself use a waterproof notebook and a space pen, which effectively means I can write in pouring rain.

I just cannot see those little electronic screens in bright sunlight, otherwise I would consider the system you have.

I also like your charging system, reasonable and unique!

Mick.

Is there somobody who has made such a programm for Windows Mobile PDA's??

Thanks, Mick.
I have used this program for about a year now and experience has changed the interface - I have indeed been animated by the question of "Nothing more, nothing less".

Yes, I know these programms but as you said these are for the older window CE versions and don't run on Mobile versions.
