That's "cannon" not "Canon"

can anyone tell me anything about this lens? It's some sort of monster.

Strange you did not notice it was a mortar disguised as an LF. The guy is aiming at an enemy tank on his ground glass. (This is an LF, cannon would be a ULF.)
