For anyone interested in landscape and history, there is a book out called "Exploring Roman Britain" (by A. McCloy & A. Midgley, New Holland books, £19.99). It is really a walkers guide to the ancient remains, but the photography is absolutely superb and the book is worth the price for that alone.
