Hi everyone,

I am just in the process of moving to Brussels - I hope you could help me with some information on good labs for C41/E6 from 35mm up to 4x5 in and around Brussels?

Maybe you also know a good place for buying film, chemicals and alike?

I find it quite difficult to search on google for these kind of things - probably due to the lack of french language skills...

Thanks!
Jan

after some more research I found the information on a Flickr Group - if any body else might be looking for the same information, here two places in Brussels:

"american color" for anything E6
"limelight" for anything C41

they seem to be very good - will check them out myself soon.

Jan, several - pro level - labs do operate in Brussels. See Yellow pages (# 855 in printed version)
The one I know about :

Sadocolor (rue General Tombeur , 1040 ) , E6 / C41 , also for pro-framing : nice people!
Micheli JJ lab (rue de Tervaete , 1040 )
Limelight , 1050

American color (1050 Elsene) : I've heard he's stopping its activity?

I just discovered a small, traditional, C41 , renowed for still using ENLARGER technology!
called "Jazz" rue de Flandre / Flanderstraat

Hope it helps you, Emile (originally from Luik)

I'm just using a standard lab (ELKA), dropping my films (120, 220, 4x5) at my usual photo shop. And it works fine while remaining affordable.
While service on 135 film will possibly (as I heard from friends) not be as good as it is for professional formats.

Another option would be Fotoguy, they're located in the Rue de Flandres/ Vlaamsesteenweg, close to the St.-Kathelijne metrostation. It's a very small store, but they carry about everything you could possibly need regarding film, chemicals etc. Take a look at www.fotoguy.be for more information

LAB In Brussels

Hi,

I am moving to Brussels in September and I was wondering whether you know any laboratory where one can go and print their own photos.

Thanks!
