I recently picked up a Pentax 6x7 (mlu) with a late 90/2.8.
Am wondering about a good shop for E6 processing & scanning.
Would like a shop in the eastern US, preferably near Ohio.
Any recommendations?
(I might be willing to take on processing the film but not the effort to get a really good scan.
That may seem backward, but it's where I'm at. So I'd like to get both done at one place.)

Collin is asking for suggestions about who might be a good lab for developing and scanning E6.
Not a problem to ask this on APUG.

Dodge-Chrome is Silver Spring, MD, has "done right by me" with E-6 processing. They have mail order form on their website. I have no affiliation with them, other than being satisfied customer.

FWIW Collin, it's better if the thread title gives a better indication of what you are looking for - something like "Lab for E6 Process + Scan - North-eastern USA?"

I'll "Report" this post, and thereby request a thread title change from Sean and the Moderators.

I thought "processing" was clear enough as opposed to lab.
But a sentence format would likely have been clearer.
Well, live and learn. Nothing lost.
Enjoy.

Nothing IN Ohio but a USPS flat rate box will get your film to Indie Film Lab, State Film Lab, or The FIND Lab in 2-3 days. They will all provide processing and scanning and multiple levels of quality and color correction (not sure if State does E6).

I just shot E6 for the first time. I have had The Darkroom Lab develop some film for me. They will be getting the E6 I shot.

North Coast Photo Imaging in Carlsbad, CA is great. They'll do the E6 or C41 and do scans too.
It's the place Ken Rockwell raves about. Not near Ohio, but close by post.

Please keep the thread to recommendations for shops that offer processing and scanning service. We're getting closer to an integrated site where there will be easy movement between APUG, DPUG, and hybrid, but for it to work, we need to keep the content streams separate, so that users can choose what they want to see.

i've never used them
but millerslab.com is supposed to be fantastic
( pros and some apuggers use them )
their price sheet isn't published online
but if you register with them and get an account
they will gladly sendyou a price sheet.
i just learned they don't do E6, so if you end up with c41 ... they are the place to go !

good luck !

North Coast Photo Services always did a great job for me. But then they stopped mounting 35mm slides, sadly. That caused me serious grief. Here is a 6x7 E6 they processed and scanned.

Dwayne's Photo in Parsons, KS does E-6 and C-41 film. Miller's Lab does C-41 only, but they do a great job at it and at a great price!
