I have an F6 L bracket made by Kirk Enterprises that I bought a number of years ago but I have been looking for a second one for some time now with no success. B&H lists a number of adjustable generic L brackets that would likely work. Prices range from fairly reasonable to ridiculous.

I wasn't even able to find one of the Kirk F6 L brackets. My solution was to get a RRS BP-CS multi-camera plate for the F6 and, when shooting vertically on a tripod, using one of these:
Not elegant, but it works. The Acratech also comes in handy for verticals with my Pentax 67, another camera where L-brackets are unobtainium. RRS once promised to offer one for the Pentax, but never did.
On KEH just type nikon f6, it will it and all accessories for it including the bracket. Scroll down to the out of stock ones and you can actually see the exact bracket needed. Either for Kirk or RRS. That's how I found the one needed for my f5 and f100. Once you have found it, you can search the model number on eBay, BH photo etc.
Here's a long shot idea. S.K. Grimes has done superb custom work for me in the past. If anyone who has a dedicated RRS or Kirk L-bracket for the Nikon F6 and is willing to loan/rent it, perhaps we can have Grimes duplicate the design. In that case, the more copies people order, the less they'd likely cost. I previously contacted Kirk, but it claimed CNC files for discontinued products are not retained, so a custom job is the only available option.
