Having sold my work in a few local auctions, I have discovered the thrill that comes with monitoring these events. I will be following these pieces in the days to come to compare their final selling point to the estimate. If there are others that you feel are especially fascinating, please contribute your research for discussion.

Kunsthaus Lempertz has announced a series of auctions, photography, modern art & contemporary art occurring December 1st through the 3rd. Most notable are works by Guillermo Kahlo, Recuerdo de México y Chapultepec (est. 20 000 - 25 000)[/URL], Otto Steinert's, Die Bäume vor meinem Fenster II (est. 12 000), and August Sander, Cologne and the Siebengebirge (est. 18 000 - 22 000). Works by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Yousuf Karsh, Eadward Muybridge, and Janos Szasz will also appear.
Among the most interesting pieces is a lifesized photogram of a woman on a bicycle, Floris M. Neusüss, Rene Burri's Ronchamp, and Heinz Hajek-Halke's, Night-time metropolis.
The works of Nan Goldin, Pierre et Giles, Bernd and Hilla Becher are also appearing during the event along with many other deserving names.
