I spent most of the day sorting contacts sheets, 35mm, variety of cameras, Konica T3, Miranda EE, Minolta 9 and 800, Topcon Uni, and Kowa SE. I am really impressed with the Kowa, sharp, great contrast, meter is center average, fixed lens 6 element 50mm 1.9, leaf shutter B to 1/500th. It has a light baffle which I thought would add some shake as it flopped up and down, even at 1/8 no shake. I have a Kowa Sl66 with a 4 lens kit, so I know that Kowa made good glass, still the Kowa 50mm is as good as the Konica 50 1.7, but I think the contrast is better. I may get the interchangeable lens version if I can get one in working order. Downside, finding a clean working version is a chore, shutters and light baffle is very complex, not many repair folks will work on one.
