Last week or so I've been shooting with a Kowa SE with fixed 50mm 1.9. Surprised how sharp this lens is. 6 elements in 4 groups, looks to be single coated. The SE is a SLR, fixed lens leaf shutter, match needle metering. I used a GE light meter. Taken on a tripod. Ultrafine 100 developed in MCM 100 printed on Multitone grade 3. For an entry level camera has a great lens. As sharp as any lens in that range I have. Kowa made and still makes good glass, I have a Kowa SL66 the lens are also very good.
