Does anyone know if Kostiner stainless tanks for 120 film have a larger diameter than other tanks? The reason I ask is, I have one nice 4 x 120 reel Kostiner tank, but it only has a flat lid and not the type that has the light tight "funnel".
Roughly measured, the diameter of this tank was 90mm, while all my other ones are 87mm. It also has a distinct "lip" to it, and a clever center rod that can be used to wash the film in the tank.
Any ideas where I can get a light tight funnel lid for this tank?
Kindermann , of course ! Thank you @darkroommike ! That should make finding a lid easier. I'll search around the auction site and I'm sure something will turn up .
I wonder what the purpose of the flat lid was though ? Seems curious .
A lot of old guys used the tanks without lids in the dark and transferred the reels on that nifty hollow lift rod from tank to tank. So the covers were just dust covers.
