What lens focal length is the Kontur 6x6 finder designed for? I would like to get one to use on my Agfa Super Isolette which has a 75mm lens. Thanks!

I looked up a picture, which doesn't give a focal length the way the 24x36 version does (50mm). However, a "normal" lens for 6x6 is 80mm, and your 75mm is close enough that your actual field shouldn't be much outside the Kontur's frame lines. You'd be about like a 47mm lens on the 50mm Kontur for 24x36.

EDIT: I looked again, the description on Camerawiki says it was made for the Perkeo and Perkeo II, both of which had 80mm lenses.

Great, thanks! Now I just need to work on the Vulcan Eye Meld to get it to work!

Yeah, depending on your interocular coordination seems to be assuming a bit. Some have it, some don't.

If one squints a bit, the Kontur principle should not work correctly.

Look with both eyes at a subject and and put a slim item intbetween you and the subject, so that the item is right in front of some subject detail. If you you look alternately with each eye to the subject the item should have the same lateral deviation to that detail.
If not, I expect the Kontur not working properly for you.
