I recently purchased a Konica AutoFlex TC and when the lens is on it the shutter releases when the film advance lever returns to its position. If I take off the lens the shutter works properly. Does anyone know what the problem could be or any fixes?

Do you have a Konica Hexanon lens mounted when this happens?

I can see the red manual aperture indicator not sliding out completely, unless I remove, and put back the lens then it will work for one shot. The viewfinder becomes dark until I loosen the lens, and I can hear something being released.

Try

- with out the teleconverter on the lens
- with only the teleconverter on the camera

Sometimes 3rd party equipment is not compatible with all models.

With this camera there are problems with the stop down lever: if the body has been used to death, that lever will occasionally fail to stop the lens down. While this fact might not address the specifics of your problem, Enrique, it does offer a bit of an explanation. Your TC body has probably had a lot of use. There is something faulty with the engineering of this internal mechanism. - David Lyga

I ended up bending the auto exposure pin on the lens slightly so it wouldn't catch on the body. Do you think it would be possible to fix? The auto exposure isn't something I really need but would be nice to have.
