I bought this Konice C35 beater for my one little bitty, light camera scheme, and while it does need a good cleaning, it seems to work. Only thing is that I can't figure out where to set the lens, as mine doesn't match up w/ the manual here

http://www.butkus.org/chinon/konica/konica_c35/konica_c35.htm

Does it really matter where I set it if I don't use the flash? The focus throw seems unusually short, but checking it at near and far distances it seems to be accurate. Here's a pic of the camera where I have it set, and as I say, if I ignore the flash G.N. settings, does is matter? The only time I use a flash is when I ck folders for bellows leaks. Thanks.

Thanks John. Tomorrow I'll pull out the old toothbrush, Q-tips, and cleaning agents and get it spiffed up. The lens threads are 46mm, which I don't have in my hood collection, but that's about all it seems to need. The camera is heavier than I remembered, but still not so bad.
