- The shutter fires during the film advance and shutter cocking
- It happens to some lenses, which has stronger resistance on the aperture control tab
- When no lens is mounted, this issue does not exist.
- Weak spring, dry lubricant on the aperture control/actuation ring on the lens mount
- Clean the black aperture control/actuation ring
- Add tiny drop of oil to the two shining silver prongs, and let the oil work through the back side of black ring
Results:
- Problem solved!
- You can feel the film advance and shutter cocking to be lighter resistance and smoother
