Hi, I have a Konica Autoreflex T3n body that starts to develop an issue. Once in a while, the shutter will automatically fire after I advance the film (and the film advance lever returns). It happens to about 20-30% of times, and happens to all shutter speeds.
Is it something that is common with the Konica T3/T3n? And are there any reasonable fix for that by myself? Or is it time to look for a new body?
I'm quite fond of the Konica T3n, which is my favorite body to use Hexanon AR lenses. And it has been quite reliable until now. Thank you!
which may help if you want to investigate. The latch is under the mirror box though so not easy to get at. Check page 22 of section 3 of the article. The bit that starts "At the end of the cocking cycle..."
All of my T are still working, first I've read about, but monopix found an article that indicates it be common enough to have written about. Unless you have good set of tools I would think about getting another.
