Konica RF with Hexanon 28 3.5?

I bought a konica rf body and can't afford an expensive lens for it right now. I just ordered a 28mm f3.5 Hexanon AR lens on ebay for 50 bucks, realizing just now that it's not the same mount. Does anyone have any experience using an AR mount lens on Konica RF (KM mount) with an adapter?

I'm mainly wondering if there will be issues with the rangefinder focus or using the light meter?

Alternatively I'd love to hear any suggestions for M mount medium wide under 250. Thanks a lot

A wide-angle lens with modest aperture- you can buy an adapter for AR mount to Leica M Mount. Just use scale-focus, you should be fine.

A Nikkor 2.8cm F3.5 in Leica Thread Mount cost ~$300 or so, when you are ready to get one with RF coupling.

KM is nothing but M mount. Any M and LTM mount lens will do. 28mm M and LTM lenses (LTM to M adapter is needed and they are plenty) are not fifty bucks SLR lenses. SLR lenses are adoptable to M mount, but with scale focus only.
Under 250 are Canon 28 3.5 and Orion-15. Canon is more traditionally build, Orion is tiny and funky, but it is still not lomography lens. Cheapest, clean, issues free, normal rendering, modern, sharp 35 lens is Color Skopar. They were at 250 mark earlier this year in LTM.

Thank you for the tips. Looks like the Color Skopar is just out of my range - seem to start around 300.

Brian, how did you go about converting your 50 1.7 to rangefinder couple?

I made an RF Cam out of retaining rings close to correct thickness, then used a layer of copper tape for the last fine adjustment. All epoxied onto the retaining ring for the rear element of the lens. With a 50mm lens- you just need to extend the motion of the rear element of the lens to the RF pickup of the body.
