I was searching around for high resolution laser printers and stopped at the Konica medical grade film printers for digital Xrays, etc. They are claiming some pretty high resolutions at 14 bit depth (16384 levels of gray). Just wondering if anyone has ever thought about using these devices for digital negatives. Probably to expensive but just a thought.
