For sale is my Konica III, serial number 117112, with a Hexanon 48mm f2 lens. This of course, has the very unique double stroke film/advance shutter cocking lever. I had Greg Weber of Weber Camera do a CLA on it in February 2011. The shutter is accurate, the lens is in great shape and there is no oil on the aperture blades and the self timer works. The body is in very good condition with some scuff marks one would expect for a camera of this vintage. The leatherette is in fantastic shape. The reputation of the Konica lenses are well known, and I have taken some nice shots with this camera.
There are a couple of issues with the viewfinder. The silver frame marker in the viewfinder is a bit crooked, so it's best to frame the shot with the clear opening inside the viewfinder which is level with the top of the camera. Also, infinity is just slightly off, but it does not affect sharpness at all.
It includes a Konica case. When I bought it it did not come with a Konica lens cap, so I bought a 35.5mm to 37mm adaptor and used a 37mm lens cap. The problem with the adapter and lens cap is that they make the front of the camera slightly large so the Konica case won't fit. If you can find an original Konica lens cap, that would be ideal. You might want to contact Greg Weber, he may have a spare to sell. I wouldn't recommend storing it in the case without a lens cap, leather cases can trap moisture and that could possibly start the growth of fungus on the lens. I will include the adapter and the 37mm lens cap.
I think $250 would be a fair price for this pretty rare camera, but with the idiosyncrasies that the viewfinder has, I will sell it for $200 via Paypal which includes shipping in the US, $225 for First Class International Shipping.
