I'm sure it is well known that the Konica Big Mini line has a common shutter button failure.
Pretty much all of the discussion on the internet revolves around the fact that it has to be replaced, but no reports of successful repairs or part number used.
I did see a single comment saying that a camera shop has repaired it with a part from some Canon camera.

Does anyone have any idea on what the actual part may be?

Thank you in advance.

I have done the repair myself, and here is the part I used:

It was not an easy repair, since the space is limited and the cable has to go though some really narrow places in sharp angles.

After the replacement, most functions work (e.g. focus and shutter release). But the data back is not working. The replacement part lacks a few capacitors, which you might need to salvage from the broken ribbon cable. I guess this is why my data back did not work.

Please excuse my ignorance here, does this flex cable affect the shutter button at the top of the camera?
