Konica Auto S2 lens haze

Hello! I just bought a Konica Auto S2 from a second hand market. I gave it a wipe with a lens cloth, and noticed this weird circular haze in the center.

Could anyone tell me if this can be cleaned or if this is permanent? It doesn't look like fungus to me.

I think the only way to find out is to disassemble the lens stack and start cleaning.
I *think* balsam separation would have a harder edge to it, but don't quote me on that. The fact that it's a contiguous blob only affecting the center does seem worrying, however.

I do agree it doesn't look like fungus.
