I need a longer bit of glass for my K-1000.The "promised" Kiron lens has not shown up and I need something more than a 35mm & 50mm. Has anyone ever used said brand of lens? The net is fairly devoid of information.
Komura was a real big name for the Bronica Medium format cameras and has been since the 60's, I have a couple of them and the performance is good, over the years I have had a few in 35mm and never remember having a problem with any of them.
Thanks for the input Dave. Its a huge chunk of glass, which I like, and reminds me of the Kiron 28-105 I shoot on my Nikon FE. As soon as the storm lets up I will run a roll of tri-x through it.

In comparison to your 35mm and 50mm primes any zoom with this much range will most probably be a big disappointment for you and complete waste of time and money (I also fell into that trap with a crappy 35-135 Kiron everyone recommended and accordingly feel hard about these lenses). If it doesn't, it is a sign that there is room for improvement for your technique or you could as well use a simple p&s instead of a demanding SLR. I'd keep looking for a nice 200/4 and then something to fill the gap or a (more expensive) 80-200/4.
OOPS! I got the name wrong. Damm, looks like it will be auto-focus P&S for me. Stupid mistake cost me 4 hours on-line trying to find a nonexistent lens.
