This bottle is labelled "Prepared in England by Kodak Limited London"
It is to be diluted with up to 40 parts water. (Like the old version of Rodinal ?)
It came with the tin of fixer shown but may not be the same age.

These are the kinds if antiques I enjoy. Things that normally would end up in the trash! Wonderful find.

I removed the Kodinol plastic cap revealing what looks like a rubber bung in untouched condition.
The bottle is only 1/3 full but may have evaporated through the bung, minature whisky bottles do this.
I will leave it untried as an antique as don't want to destroy the bung trying to open it.

That is the same method formerly used to cap Rodinal.

It's Kodak's version of Rodinol only made and sold in Europe, I have it listed in some Kodak Formulae books 1940's & 50's. Ilford's version Certinal was released 1907/8, most European companies made a version Johnsons was Azol.

Mees & Sheppard researched p-Aminophenol developers while working at Wratten & Wainwright around the same time, that research would have been housed at Harrow.

I am rather fond of the Mercury Intensifier on Pg28 where we are cautioned that "Cyanide is a deadly poison and should be handled with extreme care" and "when discarding to run the water to flush it out of the sink quickly"
The Uranium toner and intensifier look positively benign.
Good luck with sourcing.

Uranium toner uses depleted uranium which means that the higher radioactive daughter isotopes have been removed. There is really no radiation danger. However uranium is a heavy metal poison.
