So I got a hold of some 35mm Kodalith recently, and Im not sure what to do with it.

Its an 8-12 ISO/ASA speed graphic arts film with negligible reciprocity change from its data sheet.

So far I have come up with these ideas, but would like some more. I dont really care much about using it as continuous tone, more interested in its line effects.

1. Removal of people and autos from urban landscapes, Long exposure + ND filter if need be. (Maybe even super long with addition of orange filter?)

2. Portraits a la Lillian Bassman (chiaroscuro style), maybe shot wide open, and hitting them full power with a speedlite or 2.

3. Night photography of city skylines, neon signs, headlight streaks.

Darkroom:
1. Contact printing Kodalith 35mm or any other negative shot previously onto more Kodalith 35mm, then contacting printing (as many times more as needed) and then printing negative onto regular paper.

2. Enlarged onto some ortho litho paper I have, and then more contact printing.

Thats about all I got. Any tips on developing kodalith without Lith developer would be appreciated too.

I have used dektol on my ortho litho paper and it came out fine but have never done films, I have in possession D76, Xtol, and Dektol(I read diluted may work fine) and I am about to order up some Rodinal from free style.

What do you guys think?
