I'm not going to use this big bugger. Hopefully someone else out there can use it. I'm not sure there are any 4x5 folding field cameras one could use this lens on. I'm sure it could work on a couple of the monorail cameras that use the bigger lens boards. It gets used most often for 8x10 though. The general consensus is that it has about 420mm image circle when stopped down.

The glass looks great to me. I don't see any flaws that should affect image quality at all.
No scratches, no dust, no haze, no fungus.

The Ilex shutter could certainly use a cla. It fires at all speeds, and it locks into all of its settings. The low speeds are off though. 1 second is closer to 2.

Both felt-lined metal caps, the mount flange and a filter retaining ring are all present and accounted for.

There are a few of these listed on the auction site for ridiculous asking prices. I can't find a recent sold price though. And again, the shutter could use some love.

$600 plus shipping.
