Kodak VPF

Does anyone here have knowledge or experience with Kodak VPF? Is that the clear base transparency film (or something to that effect)?

I can't find anything from Kodak with the code "VPF," but as an acronym it might stand for "Vision Print Film." That would be a low speed reversal film made fro printing motion pictures from master positives. You might see:

Vision Print Film is not a reversal film, it still undergoes the normal negative development process, just like photographic paper.
