I need an information, please. I know there are a lot of informations about developers, but I would like to have the best solution.
I have shoot a dozan of rolls 120 film tri-x at 320 iso. I did shoot portraits of my kids, and I did use two visatec lights.

I would use my Jobo ATL-1000 with constant rotation. As far I use this film, I developed it in Kodak T-Max developer.

What are Yours best/favourite combinations?

You'll get as many answers as there are APUGgers, but I quite like tri-x (both kinds, and they are very different) in X-tol. It's a very good combo for skin tones. YMMV, of course.

Suzanne, do you like it straight, or diluted?

I have tried like the dickens to like Tri-X in HC-110, but it's just too rough for me. About the only things I like in HC-110 is Delta 400 (strangely enough) and 100TMY.

Trying to simplify my life around two or three films (two Tmaxes, PlusX, and TriX) and two developers or so, stuff that won't go bad on the shelf (or which I can mix from scratch). Looks like it's going to be D76H, Xtol/Mytol or PC-TEA, and maybe HC-110 since I already have it and since I'll decay before it does.

Tri-X in Xtol straight, no dilution, for 8.5 minutes...has worked superbly for thousands of rolls I've done, whether skin tones, products, or landscapes.

Well, I am thinking about D-76/ID-11 1:1 might be a nice choice. I would like to try HC 110, but I do not have a fast option to get it here in Slovenija. I must make an order from Germany...and wil take some time.

I have Rodinal, T-Max, Forte developer, Ilford DD-X, Perceptol, Rollei lowspeed developer, Efke FR, Ilford Microphen, Fujidol and Fujidol E

For now, I think that ID-11 1:1 might be the best choice. But how will this developer work with tri-x in constant rotation in my Jobo ATL-1000?
