I expect that it is the same as the liquid Kodafix that sells in North America under that name.
Similar to Kodak Polymax - T print developer, which has in the past been labeled as Kodak Liquid Dektol in European markets.
Highly unlikely as PolyMax fixer is described as paper fixer, the one in question as film fixer. It may be the same as Kodak PolyMax T fixer, which was marketed mostly to commercial users (just like Polymax T developer): http://125px.com/docs/techpubs/kodak/j5-2003_02.pdf
You may have missed this reference in the data sheet:Highly unlikely as PolyMax fixer is described as paper fixer, the one in question as film fixer.
Indeed I have. But dilution suggested forT-MAX fixer for film is 1+4.You may have missed this reference in the data sheet:
"POLYMAX T Fixer is also for use with tank or tray processing of film; dilute 1 part concentrate with 3 parts water.".
One of the reasons I have never been wild about Tmax films - they take twice as long to fix as Ilford and I can never seem to get the stain out. I'm always left with the feeling that they are underfixed.Yeah...the pink negative thing was really stumping me...made me think my fixer was expiring. And HCA was REALLY pink!
